GREEN MEADOWS RETROFIT STUDY

The purpose of the project is to encourage uptake of conservation retrofit at a community scale. Green Meadows have created an open-source platform to give people in the Old Meadows Conservation Area tailored, high quality retrofit advice. By carrying out surveys of homes in the Meadows, they have built a holistic picture of the current building stock and has provided them with the necessary information to develop more detailed retrofit designs.
In order to make this project more accessible, we produced drawings of each house type with supplementary illustrations capturing key details across the buildings. This allows people to click on their house type and add additional features in order to then download a retrofit plan specific to their building.
These house specific drawings were produced alongside an aerial view of Nottingham to show the context of The Meadows area.
