This set of illustrations depict the design for a contemporary ‘scandi-style’ barn conversion by Elizabeth Owens Architecture. Prior to my involvement, Elizabeth was finding it difficult to sell the idea to her client with solely two-dimensional information. This series of internal perspectives communicate the design of key spaces within the building in an instantly understandable format. The perspectives are then tied together and contextualised by a cutaway aerial drawing of the whole project.
“Katherine provided a suite of eight internal illustrations for a residential project I am working on. The process was really straightforward and Katherine was a pleasure to work with, offering suggestions for potential improvements and ideas for getting the best out of each view. The illustrations were so charming and easy to understand; they were for a domestic client who isn't experienced in reading plans, and it really helped them visualise the spaces. I hope we will get the chance to work together again soon!”
